I also love the director’s other amazing holiday film Trick ‘r’ Treat. Sure it has some cheesiness (I really wish the film had gone more serious and even darker with everything) and there are some annoying plot tropes, but overall it’s wonderfully atmospheric, chillingly scary at times, and very fun. The horrific toys in the attic are amazing, too. You can buy or rent Krampus for as low as 3.99 to rent or 14. I love, LOVE the first time you see Krampus up on the roof and the terrifying way he easily speed-runs and leaps from housetop to housetop. Krampus is currently available to stream on TNT.
